Alpha Weather introduces a Today widget that offers a streamlined method to view weather forecasts without needing to access the app directly. The primary purpose of this widget is to provide quick answers to two essential questions:

• What’s the weather forecast for the upcoming hours?
• What’s the weather forecast for the coming days?

To access the widget and view the current forecast, users can follow these steps:

• On the home or lock screen: Swipe to the right; to return, swipe to the left.
• Within any app: Swipe down, then to the right; to return, press the home button.

Selecting one of the time intervals at the bottom of the widget allows users to view forecasts for every 1, 2, 4, or 6 hours as well as daily forecasts. Tapping "EDIT" opens the app, providing options to modify locations, colors, or temperature units for the respective widget. Designed with space efficiency in mind, users can minimize the widget further by tapping the upper right arrow button (the “Less” button on iOS 12) to hide the bottom area; tapping it again restores visibility.

Alpha Weather accommodates up to three Today Widgets, each configurable to suit individual preferences. A typical configuration may include:

• One widget for hourly forecasts of a designated location
• One widget for daily forecasts of the same location
• One widget dedicated to forecasts for an additional location of interest

Among its features, Alpha Weather offers:

• Operational functionality without reliance on GPS-based location services
• Information on sunrise and sunset times, wind speed, atmospheric pressure, and humidity levels
• Automatic updates of forecasts each time the widget is displayed
• Support for dark mode in iOS 13

Alpha Weather Pro Subscription

Certain capabilities within Alpha Weather require a subscription that grants access to:

• Unlimited use of an additional weather service powered by Dark Sky (https://darksky.net/poweredby/), which can provide valuable alternative insights.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account charges for renewal occur within 24 hours prior to the end of the existing period.
